PLAYER PLOT: Rubilykskoye's Got Talent
Hi everyone! Just wanted to let you know about an upcoming player plot. This is a little lighter in tone: it's a hootenanny for the PCs and NPCs alike!
• Everyone's favourite necrodad prime is collaborating with both a local minstrel troupe and some musically inclined player characters (House, Uta) to set up a makeshift performance space outside the town square.
• There will be free beer thanks to Nikita, a puppet show for the kids, places to sit and places to dance, and of course, live music!
• Your characters are welcome to contribute too - I would love someone with hunting skills to bring some meat to roast, and singers are welcome to ask for a turn on the mic. If anyone wants to volunteer to help with set up and bump out that would also be welcome! Also, if your character is the sort to cause chaos I'm happy to incorporate that in too. Just let me know in this post.
• The event will take place ICly on June 22 from the afternoon into the night - Thursday is the town's rest day so the town will turn out in an effort to relax after the most recent unpleasantness. This will also be the start of characters who haven't sated their urges experiencing some adverse affects!
• John will be broadcasting a telepathic invitation on the network in a couple of days - you're welcome to volunteer skills there or handwave approaching him at the boarding house.
• I'll probably also post up the log this weekend since it's nice to get a head start on threads. It will be an open log for everyone to mingle in using their own top-levels.
• The mods will not be NPCing as this isn't an official event, but if you want a troupe member I'd be happy to puppet one, or people can incorporate their own NPCs - if you regularly plan to play an NPC, remember to leave a comment for the mods on the Settings page (as per the Daily Life section.)
