ANNOUNCEMENT
Hello, monsters! Tifa here.
As you're all aware, for a few months now, the mod team has been stressed and burned out from the difficult work of running this game. Despite this, we returned from our hiatus with every intention of diving back into things and pushing this game into the next and last pre-plotted phase. We were very excited last week to get back into things.
However, the results of the US election have changed that. For my part, I feel unable to overcome my existential grief to put forth the requisite energy to undertake the already strained and difficult work to keep this game running. I also have concerns about my ability to take pleasure in a horror game about a death cult while real life in the United States is plagued by new daily traumas that come with the real life death cult that is a Trump administration.
I am therefore stepping down as a moderator of Rubilykskoye. After discussing this with the rest of the mod team, they have decided to step down with me for reasons that vary from person to person.
If anyone would like to take over acting as moderator(s), I'm happy to turn over accounts and an outline of the next phase's plot events. However, be aware that our resignation is effective immediately. Tenny, Pel, Mal, and I will not be staying on to facilitate a transition between mod teams; you'd be jumping in on your own. If no one indicates a desire to take up the mantle by the end of this week, the game is closing.
Currently, the plan is to convert Rubilykskoye into a no-AC musebox, allowing people to continue to play in the setting and maintain their CR as they so desire. In this situation, to facilitate musebox play so no one feels stalled as they finish out or progress their characters' arcs and plots in the musebox environment, I'll post the remaining plot outline in![[community profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/community.png)
rubiooc. The mod team is also happy to approve membership requests from former players so they can regain access to their threads and participate in the musebox with their friends. To get a request approved, just reach out to any moderator on Plurk or by replying to this entry.
Thank you all not just for your understanding, but for a year and a half of great memories. It's been a truly excellent experience playing with all of you, and we hope that you feel the same.

We encourage folx to treat it not just as a traditional love meme, but like a yearbook, where we can leave notes about things we've enjoyed about our CR and fellow players and the game overall.
