ABILITIES: Peony is a nymph, a type of fey that specialises in her connection to nature.

Connection to areas of nature. Peony can mark out a piece of land (less than an acre) and make it her nymph's den. In this area, plants and vegetation grow better and the land itself is healthier. Her wellness is linked to this area of land and any destruction or violence to nature in this area will physically injure and sicken her. She becomes aware of any interlopers through her den

Fairy Blood. In Peony's world, fey blood is sought after by undead and vampires as drinking it has a narcotic effect.

Force of Personality. Peony is immune to being magically charmed by others. Once in a day she can use her fey presence to charm or frighten a person within 10ft of her.

Faerie Flight. Peony has wings that can support her weight and grant her the ability to fly. When not in use they retract into two nubs at the top of her spine - the retraction is an unpleasant sensation but allows Peony to pass for entirely human.

Animal and Plant Communication. Peony can speak with animals and plants without expending her magic, however, this also means she cannot turn off this ability and ignore plants and animals that might want to chat.

Innate and Gifted Magic. The majority of Peony's magic comes from her warlock pact with Titania, where she made a bargain in exchange for magic and power. Her innate bardic magic woke up after her pact was formed. Her magic encompasses many skills such as healing, fighting and illusion magics.

Bardic Skills and Inspiration. Peony can inspire others with her magic and songs.

WHAT IS YOUR CHARACTER'S SOCIOECONOMIC BACKGROUND? WHAT IS THEIR RELATIONSHIP TO WEALTH?:

Peony grew up with more money than she knew how to spend. The family that raised her were new money nobles. In her childhood, she was doted upon and never wanted for anything. As a result, she became incredibly spoiled and expected a certain standard of living without having to earn it. Shortly after running away, she was very confused to learn how unkind people were when you don't have money.

Since then, she's matured and has come to understand the value of hard work and being mindful of her money. She's continually aspirational. But just willing to work for it now.
