We all have urges, aberrant hungers that we spend our days calculating whether it is to our advantage to indulge or suppress them. The righteous fury that moves one desperate victim to take revenge on the person who wronged them. The fathomless greed for recognition that drives another to seek ever higher achievement. Most societies and cultures caution us to rein in these impulses, to achieve enlightenment through their denial.
But what if we were to let them go? What monsters would be born?
CONTENT WARNING: This game's info pages, premise, plot, and events may involve or make reference to rape, dubious and coerced consent, torture, blood and gore, body horror, disfiguration, murder, cult behavior, medieval punishments, drugs effects, and animalistic sexual behaviors. RUBILYKSKOYE is a dark, horror-themed smut game. Characters arrive in a wooded void-space, naked and without any belongings. They will soon discover glowing runes on their bodies like tattoos, which mark them as bearing a curse that transforms them into monsters if they do not have regular sexual intercourse. The transformation into a beast is painful, and when it is complete, they lose their sense of self, becoming driven only by an appetite for sex and/or violence. In the nearby township from which the game takes its name, characters will discover a cult-like society of similarly cursed individuals with unfamiliar customs centered around the careful indulgence of these urges.
The game will alternate between horror-based and sex-based events. Horror events will draw on various tropes and elements like body horror, gore, violence, psychological horror, loss of autonomy, mistrust of senses, and lovecraftian madness. Smut events will draw primarily on kink tropes driven by the cult-like behavior of the local population.
Opt-outs will vary by event. While players can opt-out of the smut parts of the game, it will intensify the horror aspects of the game for their character, and opting out of the horror parts of the game will generally require more involvement in the smut components.
Welcome to the Rubilykskoye interest check! We are a panfandom, plot-heavy horror-smut game set in a void world populated solely by a vaguely Eastern European castle village! How and why your characters arrived will be answered as characters interact with the town's various NPCs, including the mysterious Duchess living in the castle, and as players proactively engage with events.
Players can expect events to alternate between the erotic and grotesque, though many will combine the two. The game will heavily feature eldritch body horror, religious cult behavior, and animalistic behaviors and urges.

Character Considerations: I think this setting is so compelling for character growth, so I'm tossing between a few characters but in the top consideration is:
jim kirk: of the aos timeline, cocky, headstrong, stubborn hotshot starfleet captain with the likely canonpoint of just post the first movie. we love a man who is all the issues tangled up in the inability to say no to a challenge. He would likely lean into some of the darker things in the setting in a way I think could be compelling, and the sex would (at least initially) come easy for him.
nile freeman: from the old guard; brand new immortal, the only sensible one (TM), loyal to a fault, former marine, thinks she knows about the whole damn world but surprisingly young in some of the areas that matter. I think she would be interesting because she's got so much room for growth in so many areas.
dominic "dom" barlowe: lil oc former government agent who hunted magic users now has magic powers and feels some kind of way about it. tries to be stoic. fails a lot. there's some compelling strings to pull about how he feels about monsters and then becoming one and just there's a lot of manpain that could happen and aren't we suckers for some manpain???
Monster Interests: I am such a slut for a werecreature, honestly. Werewolf, werecat, wherebear, here, there, everywhere. But also give me a vampire or demonic creatures or feral mermaids any day of the week. I also find the succubus/incubus line v v interesting.
Horror/Kink Interests:
horror: I am very interested in the psychological horror side of things; visions, not trusting one's senses, creeping dread, emotional triggers and tricks, hallucinations, feeling trapped and desperate, etc.
kink: fuck or die, dub-con, knife play, pegging, overstimulation in various ways (fucking 'til exhaustion, size kink, bondage in complicated ways), D/s dynamics, non-con, monster fucking, humiliation, punishment, exhibitionism and I'm sure there are others but these are a few I'd love to explore writing out!
Triggers and Aversions: Any cancer-themed stuff, appreciate a tag on medical horror so I can avoid it, in depth discussion of eating disorders.
