We all have urges, aberrant hungers that we spend our days calculating whether it is to our advantage to indulge or suppress them. The righteous fury that moves one desperate victim to take revenge on the person who wronged them. The fathomless greed for recognition that drives another to seek ever higher achievement. Most societies and cultures caution us to rein in these impulses, to achieve enlightenment through their denial.

But what if we were to let them go? What monsters would be born?

RUBILYKSKOYE is a dark, horror-themed smut game. Characters arrive in a wooded void-space, naked and without any belongings. They will soon discover glowing runes on their bodies like tattoos, which mark them as bearing a curse that transforms them into monsters if they do not have regular sexual intercourse. The transformation into a beast is painful, and when it is complete, they lose their sense of self, becoming driven only by an appetite for sex and/or violence. In the nearby township from which the game takes its name, characters will discover a cult-like society of similarly cursed individuals with unfamiliar customs centered around the careful indulgence of these urges.

The game will alternate between horror-based and sex-based events. Horror events will draw on various tropes and elements like body horror, gore, violence, psychological horror, loss of autonomy, mistrust of senses, and lovecraftian madness. Smut events will draw primarily on kink tropes driven by the cult-like behavior of the local population.

Opt-outs will vary by event. While players can opt-out of the smut parts of the game, it will intensify the horror aspects of the game for their character, and opting out of the horror parts of the game will generally require more involvement in the smut components.

Welcome to the Rubilykskoye interest check! We are a panfandom, plot-heavy horror-smut game set in a void world populated solely by a vaguely Eastern European castle village! How and why your characters arrived will be answered as characters interact with the town's various NPCs, including the mysterious Duchess living in the castle, and as players proactively engage with events.

Players can expect events to alternate between the erotic and grotesque, though many will combine the two. The game will heavily feature eldritch body horror, religious cult behavior, and animalistic behaviors and urges.

The nitty-gritty:

There is a mod-run storyline with the first 'phase' outlined at about two years;

PC actions can and will influence the outcome of events;

This game is locked and invite-only;

App rounds are monthly;

It has no minimum comment count for AC;

There is an activity rewards shop.

Players can influence the outcome of events in a number of ways. In addition to giving players the chance to thread with NPCs to learn more about the game's plot and world, some events will allow game-wide votes on outcomes, while others will afford RNG opportunities for players to sign-up for an important role. Activity rewards also allow players to exchange their active participation in events for threads with NPCs and other plot tidbits or roles.

Character Considerations:

Option 1) This guy, Moonlight, an oc from the TTRPG Cyberpunk RED. He's a ball of trauma (like most people in Night City tbh) stuffed into a pretty painted package. He's a fixer, which means he's good at networking, and connecting people who wanna sell with the people that wanna buy whatever it is - cars, kill contracts, cyberware, body parts, you name it. Pretty good at the illusion of intimacy, awful at actual intimacy, and tends to weigh and value people by whether they can be valuable to him.

Option 2) Camille, another TTRPG oc but this time from World of Darkness / Vampire: The Masquerade. A vampire who operates out of a legal bordello as a cover. Why go hunting when the food will come to you? He's kind like a D&D bard meme on crack as his vampiric powers are meant for seduction and control. He also has a (literal) weakness for fine art.

Monster Interests: Both Moonlight and Camille will likely be diabel. Camille is already a vampire so I'm looking forward to playing with that, but I'm leaning more towards incubus for Moonlight.
Horror/Kink Interests:

Horror: cosmic horror and cults are both fave, I tend to lean towards psychological horror a lot. Moonlight is lowkey terrified of a condition called cyberpsychosis, in which the afflicted loses control of themselves and goes into a rage usually until they're mowed down, so playing into the fear of that would be chef's kiss.

Kinks: Camille offers some juicy kinks for those into it: VtM admittedly has some uhhh questionable mechanics but a vampire's "kiss" is by default pleasurable to the point of potentially being addicting. Other things include bloodplay (obviously), marking/claiming, magic, dubcon/coercion (this is built into Camille's powers via canon but I obviously won't force that on anyone, happy to scale it to as much or as little as players are into). Moonlight is remarkably vanilla given his setting but some other general kinks include aphrodisiacs and/or mild drug use, edging/orgasm control, and over-stimulation.
