We all have urges, aberrant hungers that we spend our days calculating whether it is to our advantage to indulge or suppress them. The righteous fury that moves one desperate victim to take revenge on the person who wronged them. The fathomless greed for recognition that drives another to seek ever higher achievement. Most societies and cultures caution us to rein in these impulses, to achieve enlightenment through their denial.

But what if we were to let them go? What monsters would be born?

CONTENT WARNING: This game's info pages, premise, plot, and events may involve or make reference to rape, dubious and coerced consent, torture, blood and gore, body horror, disfiguration, murder, cult behavior, medieval punishments, drugs effects, and animalistic sexual behaviors. RUBILYKSKOYE is a dark, horror-themed smut game. Characters arrive in a wooded void-space, naked and without any belongings. They will soon discover glowing runes on their bodies like tattoos, which mark them as bearing a curse that transforms them into monsters if they do not have regular sexual intercourse. The transformation into a beast is painful, and when it is complete, they lose their sense of self, becoming driven only by an appetite for sex and/or violence. In the nearby township from which the game takes its name, characters will discover a cult-like society of similarly cursed individuals with unfamiliar customs centered around the careful indulgence of these urges.

The game will alternate between horror-based and sex-based events. Horror events will draw on various tropes and elements like body horror, gore, violence, psychological horror, loss of autonomy, mistrust of senses, and lovecraftian madness. Smut events will draw primarily on kink tropes driven by the cult-like behavior of the local population.

Opt-outs will vary by event. While players can opt-out of the smut parts of the game, it will intensify the horror aspects of the game for their character, and opting out of the horror parts of the game will generally require more involvement in the smut components.

Welcome to the Rubilykskoye interest check! We are a panfandom, plot-heavy horror-smut game set in a void world populated solely by a vaguely Eastern European castle village! How and why your characters arrived will be answered as characters interact with the town's various NPCs, including the mysterious Duchess living in the castle, and as players proactively engage with events.

Players can expect events to alternate between the erotic and grotesque, though many will combine the two. The game will heavily feature eldritch body horror, religious cult behavior, and animalistic behaviors and urges.

The nitty-gritty:

There is a mod-run storyline with the first 'phase' outlined at about two years;

PC actions can and will influence the outcome of events;

This game is locked and invite-only;

App rounds are monthly;

It has no minimum comment count for AC;

There is an activity rewards shop.

Players can influence the outcome of events in a number of ways. In addition to giving players the chance to thread with NPCs to learn more about the game's plot and world, some events will allow game-wide votes on outcomes, while others will afford RNG opportunities for players to sign-up for an important role. Activity rewards also allow players to exchange their active participation in events for threads with NPCs and other plot tidbits or roles.

nicky (the old guard) · umarell — immortal, idealist, king of swinging a sword around real good. would struggle to be comfortable in such a grimdark society, but that's the kind of thing i'm interested in playing!
boro (brand new cherry flavour · boro — body-snatching ancient chaos witch currently in the body of a milf. would have the time of her FUCKING life here honestly, which is also the kind of thing i'm interested in playing.
fence pickett (original) · pickett — weird, offbeat ex-marine who is finally comfortable with himself and the world around him now he's lived through an alien invasion apocalypse. the nastiest skank bitch you have ever met. do not trust him.

Monster Interests:

for nicky i think i'd probably just go with an old fashioned werewolf (wilk)! i've never played one before and i think he leans into the vibe pretty well. because i'm a sick freak i do kind of feel like peak werewolf design is lupin's ratty werewolf in the third h*rry p*tter movie and i also think it fits into nicky's general vibe but maybe i could be persuaded to something more beefy idk i'm open
for boro, her whole thing is being kind of a weird eldritch parasite, so something under the diabel heading would fit her best, and i'm kind of enchanted by the idea of her having an extremely fucked up fae form which takes aspects of previous bodies she's stolen, bc how cool is that.
for fence, honestly i have no idea! just for the sake of variety and also because i do think the description fits, i'd probably plop him under the niez subheading, but other than that i'd have to give it more of a think. he's violent and intense and extremely weird and also deeply untrustworthy but with a veneer of superficial charm, so he's hard to pin down – something which takes advantage of those traits would be fun to play with as an externalisation of his worst traits.

Triggers and Aversions: nothing life-ruining for me but i would appreciate a warning if you're going to link footage of car accidents (especially when pedestrians are hit out of nowhere)
